Model 800

Pneumatic or Hydrostatic Hose Testing System - Model 800

Our hose test systems, Model 800 series are designed as completely enclosed cabinets for safe testing of hose assemblies. Although we have standard sizes and pressure ranges, our pneumatic or hydrostatic hose testing systems can be custom designed to fit customer’s hose size, end connections and test requirements.

The systems are free standing constructed of a carbon steel frame and powder coated. The test chambers are made out of stainless steel with stainless steel outlet to hose connections securely attached to the inside of the chamber.

The test chambers are fitted with a transparent Lexan lid mounted into a frame that is opened and closed with air cylinders. The latch system has a safety interlock so that the door to the test chamber cannot be opened when a hose if pressurized within the chamber.

For hoses required to be submerged under water during testing, the test chamber is filled with water that can easily be drained after each test.

Model No. 800 hose testing systems are custom designed to fit customer’s hose size, pressures, end connections and test requirements. The standard units listed indicate the test chamber size, which can be modified larger or smaller depending on customer request.

Adjacent to the test chamber and within the same steel framework is the control console consisting of adequate pumps, valves, fittings, tubing, gauges, regulators and related instrument controls for a complete test circuit capable of filling, venting, testing and dumping the pressure. We have installed a “block and bleed” valve system which isolates the hose from the control console. The bleed will dump the pressure to the test chamber for draining and return with air back to a recirculation system.
