Flanged Valve Testers
Model 1400 | OptionsOur 1400 series performs both pneumatic and hydrostatic testing. They are both rotating and non-rotating flanged valve testers, and exert no external loads on the valve bodies during the testing process.
Economic Valve Testers
Model 1200The 1200 series is our most economical valve testing solution capable of both pneumatic and hydrostatic testing. This non-rotating flanged valve testing system exerts no external loads on the valve bodies.
Hydraulic Flange Seals
Model 1500 HFS | Model 1500 APIOur 1500 series patented Hydraulic Flange Seals systemically increase safety and productivity because they complement our Model 1400 Flanged Valve Test Systems.
Multi-Purpose Valve Testers, Tilt From Horizontal to Vertical
Model 600 | OptionsOur Model 600 Series clamp fixtures are designed to clamp and test valves, fittings and related pressure bearing parts between centers. Hydrostatic or pneumatic seat testing can be performed from both sides without removing the valve from the clamp fixture. Moreover, the fixture can be set horizontal, so the test valve can be easily loaded from top with a overhead crane. The fixture can tilt to vertical position for testing. The picture on the left is shown in its vertical position. Model 600 is especially suitalbe for large diameter and heavy weight valves testing.
Multi-Purpose Valve Testers, Vertical with Indexing Table
Model 600v | OptionsOur Model 600v Series clamp fixtures are similar to Model 600 Series. They are designed to clamp and test valves, fittings and related pressure bearing parts from both ends. Model 600v has a vertical position only. The test valve must be loaded from the front. To facilitate the loading of the valve, an indexing table is attached to the fixture. Model 600v has a much smaller foot print comparing to compatible Model 600. However, a custom designed model can test a butterfly valve up to 54" in diameter. The picture on the left shows a dual-fixture test system. With this system, one operator can test two valves simultaneously, thus doubling the efficency.
Safety Relief Valve Testers
Model 900 | OptionsThe 900 series, with our unique "J" tube design, performs both pneumatic and hydrostatic testing. This series provides the most reliable method available anywhere to test Safety Relief Valves in accordance with the applicable specifications.
Hose Test Systems
Model 800
Our hose test systems, Model 800 series are designed as completely enclosed cabinets for safe testing of hose assemblies. Although we have standard sizes and pressure ranges, our pneumatic or hydrostatic hose testing systems can be custom designed to fit customer’s hose size, end connections and test requirements.
Portable Pump Systems
Model 1900The Model 1900 series pump systems are our portable two and four wheel hand carts that allow the test system to move from test requirement to test requirement and can be used for Hydrostatic testing or Hydraulic applications or both.
Model 1700 Autofrettage Pump
Calder Testers, Inc. has designed and manufactured a line of hydraulically operated Super Pressure Pumps and related fittings for pressures up to 180,000 psi. The pump systems are manufactured as single or double ended systems and come with an integrated control console.
The systems can be manually operated, semi-automated or fully automated with computer interface. The control console can be designed for manual operation where the test operator controls the high pressure pump until it gets to the required pressure. When data storage is required we provide our field proven Data Acquisition and Analysis System (DAAS). If more control is required we can provide our Data Acquisition and Control System (DACS) to monitor the test, control the pump cycles, determine the ramp rate and stop at the required pressure as well as develop a record of the test, hard copy and store the information.
Our Standard Model 1700 High Pressure Pump discharges .788 cubic inches per stroke and the double ended pump systems have 1.58 cubic inches per cycle. These outputs can be increased to 1 cubic inch for single acting and 2 cubic inches for double acting by adjustments or we can build a special pump for larger outputs if required.
Data Acquisition and Analysis Software (DAAS)
Our computer based software can be configured to meet the test requirements for Safety Relief Valves, Control Valves, Standard configuration valves, pressure testing of any kind. The stand alone software monitors, saves, displays and views pressure testing which captures the required data digitally, in print form and visually for a permanent record.
Safety Test Cells
Calder Testers had designed and manufactured Safety Test Cells for ourselves as well as customers throughout the world. The Safety Cells are designed to absorb energy and depressurize a failure within the Safety Test Cell. The Safety Cells are designed to contain items that fail during testing or shrapnel created by a rupture. These proven designs have been use by Calder Testers or their personnel for over 40 years.
High Pressure Check Valves
Calder Testers had designed high pressure check valves for liquid service up to 60,000 psi. The check valves have ½”, ¾” and 1” bores for quick fill inlets and high pressure inlet fitting for injection of the high pressure test medium. The valves are designed to fill, vent and test with one initial connection.
Water Muffler/Capture
Calder Testers has designed a portalbe Water Muffler/Capture system for use with our Safety Relief Valve Test Systems. This system has a hydraulic lift to adjust for the height of the RV and includes flange adapters that clamp to the outlet flange and threaded adapters for threaded outlet valves. The System includes a SS capture/surge drum and high flow muffler to reduce the sound of air relief valve tests. A relief valve is included to prevent over pressure of the drum during test. The drum attaches firmly to the outlet of the valve during the test and is designed to resist the reactive forces of the relief valve during lift. When furnished with the Data Acquisition System the camcorder mount and fiber optic light source for water tests are mounted on the drum so that the camcorder may view the outlet of the valve through an included sight glass. Standard Features Stainless Steel Drum High Flow Muffler and Relief Valve Portable Hydraulic Lift Aluminum Flange and Thread Adapters Water Drain Valve Included with Data Acquisition System Camcorder Mount Fiber-Optic light source and guide. Also available with SS Flange and Thread Adapters
Calder Tester machines perform both hydrostatic and pneumatic testing. Our systems can perform shell tests, seat tests, re-seat tests, and leak detection tests, and they can do it on all types of valves. Calder Testers' precisely engineered and manufactured systems will provide you with the best equipment anywhere on today ’s worldswide market.
